Best restaurants in Lefkada

Lefkada is not only about landscapes and amazing beaches, but also about great culinary experiences and delicious food. Here are my recommendations for the best experiences:

Locul nostru preferat din Lefkada!?

Initial era un restaurant, insa recent au deschis si o zona de bar. La bar atmosfera este mult mai relaxata, iar privelistea este suuuperba. Trebuie sa veniti aici la apus! Nu fac rezervari, iar locul este destul de popular, asa ca va recomand sa veniti din timp pentru a putea prinde o masa si apusul.

Sa stiti ca se serveste mancare si la bar, nu au foarte multe optiuni, dar sigur gasiti ceva pe gustul vostru. Eu nu pot sa va spun prea multe lucruri deapre mancare, insa pot sa va recomand cocktailurile casei, care sunt amazing? Noi am mancat totusi niste bruschete cu ciuperci si trufe care ne-au placut foarte mult, dar asta a fost tot, pentru ca eram preocupati sa incercam toate cocktailurile?

Our favorite place in Lefkada!?

This was initially a restaurant but they have recently opened a bar too. At the bar, the atmosphere is more relaxed and the view -oh the view!- is beautiful. You should go here at sunset, trust me!! They do not take reservations, so be sure to arrive on time to catch a table and the sunset. They also serve some food in the bar area so I’d recommend you to stay there. I can’t tell you much about the food, but the cocktails and the atmosphere is awesome?. We ate here some bruschettas with mushrooms and truffles and they were really tasty, but that was it, because we were too busy trying all the delicious cocktails!?

Pondi Family – Vasiliki

RO:

Trebuie sa incercati fructele de mare! Ospatarii sunt foarte prietenosi, mancarea e delicioasa si foarte ieftina, iar portiile foaarte generoase! Noi am servit platoul cu fructe de mare pentru 2 persoane, din care am fi putut manca cu siguranta 3, pentru ca a fost atat de mult incat am luat si la pachet! La final o sa primiti si un desert din partea casei, care e foarte gustos!

You have to taste the seafood here, trust me! The staff is really friendly and attentive, and the food is amazingly good and cheap for its quantity. We tried the seafood platter for 2, but it could’ve easily been for 3, because we had to take some to go as it was too much. Btw, they give you dessert at the end of your meal and it is delicious.

 

Tasty gyros and grill since 1988 – Lefkada

RO:

Eu nu prea mananc carne si cu atat mai putin gyros, dar acesta a fost foarte bun. Portia de asemenea foarte mare, eu si iubitul meu am impartit un gyros la farfurie si, desi ne era foarte foame, a fost de ajuns pentru amandoi. Va recomand sa comandati extra tzatziki, e o combinatie foarte reusita, iar tzatziki  nu e niciodata de ajuns!

I’m not a big fan of meat or gyros but this one was tasty! The portion is really big, even though me and my boyfriend were really hungry, one gyros was enough for the both of us! Make sure to order more tzatziki, it’s a great combination, and tzatziki is never enough!

 

Ocean’s restaurant – Vasiliki

RO:

Am gasit foarte multe recenzii despre acest restaurant in ceea ce priveste pestele proaspat, insa noua nu ne era foarte foame cand am ajuns, asa ca am comandat doar aperitive, dar si acestea au fost foarte bune. Deci va pot recomanda sardinele, dar daca va place pestele, intrebati de captura zilei, cu siguranta veti manca un peste delicios.

We found a lot of great reviews about this restaurant regarding the fresh fish, but we weren’t that hungry so we ordered appetizers, but they were indeed good as well. So I’d recommend you the sardines, but if you’re a fish lover, try the capture of the day, I’m sure it’s tasty.

Amente restaurant and cocktail bar – Drimonas

RO:

Aceasta este o alta recomandare mai mult pentru locatie si priveliste decat pentru mancare. Locatia este superba, perfecta pentru apus – nu duceti lipsa de locuri pentru admirat apusul in Lefkada- insa mancarea a fost average si destul de scumpa comparativ cu alte locatii. Ne-au placut mult vinul si cocktailul comandat. Eu zic ca merita o vizita! Check the pictures!

This is again a recommendation more regarding the place than it is about the food. The location is beautiful, it’s a perfect place to enjoy the sunset, but the food was average and pretty expensive. We enjoyed the wine and the cocktails though! It is still worth a visit! Check the pictures!
