Lefkada offers a great variety of beaches, for all tastes. The West coast beaches may be more difficult to access, more remote and wavy, but are definitely the most spectacular, whereas the Eastern Coast beaches have calm waters and lush vegetation.
RO: Plajele din Lefkada sunt altceva, for real! Culoarea apei, stancile inalte si peisajele care iti taie respiratia par desprinse din alta lume! In acest articol vreau sa iti prezint cele mai frumoase plaje din Lefkada. Daca te intereseaza de asemenea cele mai tari locuri unde sa mananci in Lefkada, poate vrei sa citesti acest articol.
In Lefkada veti gasi plaje pentru toate gusturile. Cele de pe coasta vestica pot fi mai dificil de accesat, mai retrase si cu valuri, insa sunt cu siguranta cele mai spectaculoase, pe cand cele de pe coasta estica sunt mai linistite si au o vegetatie foarte dezvoltata.

Porto Katsiki Beach

It’s the most famous beach in Lefkada, and also voted among the most beautiful beaches in Europe. It was one of our favorites. The water was perfect, and the surrounding cliffs were beautiful. It was pretty crowded though, but we still enjoyed a full day here.
After arriving here with the car you have to take 100 stairs down, but they’re not such a big deal. Enjoy the views☀️
Beware to grab food and drinks with you or you have to climb back up to buy them from the only 2 shops above. Oh, and get your own umbrella with you in case you won’t find any spots in the shadow. (When we visited it there were no sunbeds or umbrellas on the beach)

Este cea mai populara plaja din Lefkada, fiind chiar cotata printre cele mai frumoase plaje din Europa. Este de asemenea una dintre favoritele noastre. Apa a fost perfecta, iar stancile din jur au intregit perfect peisajul. Fiind foarte populara, a fost si destul de aglomerata, insa ne-am bucurat de o zi intreaga aici.
Dupa ce ajungi aici cu masina, trebuie sa cobori 100 de trepte, insa nu e mare lucru. Bucura-te de priveliste.
Ar fi bine sa iti iei mancare si apa la tine sau va trebui sa urci inapoi scarile pentru a te aproviziona de la cele 2 magazine. De asemenea, te-as sfatui sa ai si propria umbrela in cazul in care nu vei gasi loc la umbra, pentru ca plaja nu este amenajaata cu sezlonguri si umbrele.(sau cel putin nu era cand am fost noi)
Agiofilli Beach

We loved this beach! When we got here we felt like we’ve discovered a hidden gem! There were only a few people at the beach in the morning. I suppose that is because it can be quite difficult to acces with the car (but it’s manageable!). The most popular way people get to this beach is by the boat, and they arrive at noon, so it can get crowded after 12PM.

Ne-a placut mult aceasta plaja! Erau foarte putini oameni dimineata pe plaja, asa ca ne-am simtit de parca am fi descoperit-o noi. Cred ca asta se intampla deoarece este destul de dificl de ajuns aici cu masina (dar nu imposibil!). Cel mai popular mod prin care oamenii ajung aici este cu vaporul, iar acestea ajung pe la pranz, deci dupa ora 12 se cam aglomereaza.
Milos Beach

This must be the most remote beach in Lefkada because it’s an adventure getting here. You’ll have to “climb” up and down the cliff through the woods for about 20 minutes. But it’s definitely worth it!
Just keep in mind that the beach offers no facilities at all and that you have to take with you food, drinks, towels and umbrellas (and carry them with you, through the woods). I know it sounds bad but we did that and we’d do it again.

Cred ca este una dintre cele mai retrase plaje din Lefkada, deoarece este mai dificil de ajuns aici. Va trebui sa te “cateri” putin prin padure, sa urci si sa cobori, pentru aproximativ 20 minute. Cu siguranta merita!
De retinut ar fi faptul ca plaja nu ofera facilitati deloc si va trebui sa cari cu tine mancare, bautura, prosoape, umbrela. Stiu ca nu sunt prea placut, dar noi am facut asta si am face-o din nou. Ba chiar am facut-o de doua ori, doar ca o data ne-a prins furtuna cand am ajuns jos, dar asta e alta poveste:))
Kathisma Beach

A very popular and crowded beach, easily accesible by car. It’s also one of the few beaches with facilities: many beach bars, restaurants and even swimming pools.
We got here on a cloudy day and the water was really cold and wavy, but we enjoyed our time at the swimming pool.

O plaja foarte populara, foarte usor de ajuns cu masina aici. Este de asemenea una dintre putinele plaje cu facilitati: aici vei gasi beach baruri, restaurante si chiar piscine.
Noi am prins o zi innorata pe plaja, cu apa rece si valuri mari, asa ca ne-am petrecut timpul la piscina.
Egremni Beach

Considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Lefkada, this is a really popular spot. Because of the 2015 earthquake, it can only be reached by boat. You can take the boat from Nydri or Vasiliki. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to get here, but we’ll go next time for sure.

Considerata una dintre cele mai frumoase plaje din Lefkada, este foarte populara. Din cauza cutremurului din 2015, plaja este accesibila doar cu vaporul. Acesta se poate lua din Nydri sau din Vasiliki. Din pacate, noi nu am avut timp sa ajungem aici, dar vom merge data viitoare.

This was the only beach on the Eastern Coast that we checked and we really liked it. It’s not as spectacular as any of the beaches mentioned above but I enjoyed it because it was perfect for snorkeling. The water was warm and clear and there were no waves so I was finally able to swim (I’m really scared by the waves!:)))

Aceasta este singura plaja de pe coasta Estica pe care am vizitat-o, si chiar ne-a placut. Nu este asa spectaculoasa precum plajele mentionate mai sus, insa mie mi-a placut pentru ca era potrivita pentru snorkeling. Apa era calda si clara, nu erau valuri, si am putut intr-un final sa inot (eu fiind foarte speriata de valuri!:))).
Nydri Beach

Nidri beach is another popular beach on the Eastern coast. The area is well-developed with cafes, bars and restaurants.
It is also great for families and for fans of snorkeling because it has clear, warm waters and no waves.

Nidri este o plaja foarte populara de pe coasta Estica. Plaja este deservita de multe cafenele si baruri. Cred ca este perfecta pentru familii si pentru fani ai snorkelingului pentru ca apa este cristalina, calda si nu sunt valuri.
